How old do Kids have to be?
We have two courses that are especially made for youngsters. From a height of 1.1m and up to the age of 13 kids are allowed to climb under the supervision of an Adult.
How many kids may I supervise?
For safety reasons an Adult may supervise a maximum of 2 kids.
Are there Discounts available?
Students (with a valid student ID), Scholars above the age of 18 and groups of 15 participants or more (only if booked in advance) receive a discount or 2 Euro per person.
Do groups have to book in advance?
For groups of 15 participants or more we need a booking via e-mail to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Can I book as a single participant?
No. Only groups of 15 or more can book the AF in advance. If you are alone just come by. During the peak season or summer holidays waiting periods are to be expected.
How much time do I need?
The climbing time alone is approx. 3 hours but 4 hours should be set aside to accommodate for the safety training and putting on of equipment which takes every 30 minutes.
What about bad weather?
Generally one can climb in wet or rainy conditions but in the event of a storm, high winds or heavy rain we close the course for safety reasons. In the case of inclement weather we advise against entering the course. If you wish to still go ahead and the course needs to be evacuated there is a no-refund policy.
How can I pay?
Payment is to be made in cash or creditcard on arrival.
Can I use my own equipment?
You may use your own helmet but for safety reasons NOT your own harness.
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable outdoor clothing and lace up shoes. Gloves are also recommended for those with sensitive hands. Jewellery and scarves are not permitted.
